>Shit's Fucked Ed., Vol II. Are there any Australians even left here? It would seem to me that Australia would be in a prime position to make the transition, but we keep getting kek'd by Rupert, IPA, Clive, Glowsticks, Alt-right theocrats, and the general "She'll be right" ennui that has been cultivated and now permeates society, along with tall pooppy anti-intellectualism. Dare I say that bogans may very well save Australia in the way Proles or Epsilons could if only their consciousness could be awoken? Thoughts?

Why are people opposed to it?

People's interests and needs are not the same across the world, so it doesn't make sense to have a one world STATE per se. But governance is important to be coordinated across the world between states by a single international body, perhaps sub-divided to manage different aspects of the world socio-economy. Then the lines begin to blur, and all the separate states dissolve in time as they abolish themselves. Leaving only the global coordinating body/bodies to maintain peace and prosperity. :3 Also fuck the UN.
>>456 because man is corrupt and people are animals one world government can be be awesome but we will never see it until the world collapses and the rich have run away
>>456 Porkies used all methods they have to divide the workers. Be it religion, race, gender, nation, culture. But one of the most powerful methods used to divide the workers of the world today is national borders and nations' sovereignty. Workers and their struggle is limited within the nation they are in. There is no feasible way workers from one nation can help workers in another nation without justifying imperialism. Let me give an example. Suppose there was an actual revolution in Syria (it failed as foreign nations got involved and it was exposed as US-lead coup attempt) against Assad. Workers from my country and other countries shouldn't call their governments to intervene in any way (IE. Supporting the "revolutionaries" looking at you SDF). They should totally be against that. As this "revolution" eventually would become another imperialist invasion against even the people who wanted the revolution. Nations serve as a chain for workers. They can't help their comrades abroad without calling the porkies of their nations to fund a group and do it for them. Perhaps they can individually join their comrades, but even then this volunteering can be used against the working class (see mercenaries). I'm not sure how a one world government would differ in this case, but I don't think proposing it now would benefit the workers in the slightest.

Translating GETchan's Slogan Anonymous Refugee Board owner 04/09/2020 (Thu) 11:09:24 No. 2261 [Reply] [Last]
Let's translate GETchan's slogan into more languages. Any additional languages that have yet to receive a translation below would be greatly appreciated. The translation doesn't need to be too literal, it just needs to keep the general meaning while also sounding natural. Sister thread: >>>/GET/13166 Languages included in GETchan's logo: -English: It's Game Time! -Spanish: ¡Es hora del juego! -French: C'est l'heure du jeu! -Dutch: Het spel begint! -Swedish: Det Är Speldags! -Japanese: ゲームの時間だ! (Geimu no Jikan da!) -Russian: Время играть! (Vremya igrat'!) Additional translations: -Traditional Chinese: 是遊戲時間了! (Cantonese: Sih Yàuhhei Sìhgaanlíuh!) -Simplified Chinese: 是游戏时间了! (Mandarin: Shì Yóuxì Shíjiānle!) -German: Das Spiel beginnt! -Catalan: És hora del Joc!

Has anything been done about this, or has it been swept under the rug?
>>1938 >Why? There are many factors. We had an autocratic government headed by Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom for 30 years. He is an Islamic scholar who studied at Al Azhar University in Egypt. He presented himself the the supreme authority on Islam in the country and promoted a form of conservative Islam which was used as a tool of political control. However hardline Wahhabi extremists (usually with Saudi or Pakistani education) who went beyond that level of conservatism were suppressed. With the arrival of liberal multiparty system in the 2000s, the Wahhabis could run around freely. They established several organizations to spread their message and one of their political parties even took control of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs. Here, Islam is a mandatory subject in school from Grade 1-12, and all school textbooks on the subject of Islam are not much different from what you might find in Saudi Arabia. These extremists also used the aftermath of 2004 Tsunami as an opportunity to spread propaganda about how it was Allah's punishment for not following the proper version of Islam. Particularly blaming it on women not wearing the hijab. Within a few years the hijab went from being worn by a minority of women to a majority. And most importantly the socioeconomic conditions in our densely populated capital with its growing problem of unemployment, drug abuse, and criminal gangs provide many recruitment opportunities for the Wahhabis. Some of them are former gang members seeking redemption.
>>1242 Our language is most closely related to the Sri Lankan language of Sinhala. But the script looks entirely different because since the 18th century we have used a constructed alphabet which was originally made as a secret code.
>>2204 >Here, Islam is a mandatory subject in school from Grade 1-12, and all school textbooks on the subject of Islam are not much different from what you might find in Saudi Arabia. Oh shit, so the Maldives isn’t secular? Have you ever had separation of church and state before Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom?
>>2218 We never really had a secular system, but before his era the form of Islam practiced here was much more moderate.

Do you support any separatist movements? which ones? on the other hand, do you support reunification movements or globalist/cosmopolitan movements? Which places would you like to see become a single nation?

I didn't sleep so I made this, it's memey but literally my utopia. Although I left out a lot of the proper political stuff, it should give you an idea. Of course the ultimate end goal should be no borders whatsoever, but imho that should be accomplished through careful gradual unification of countries into less "defined" ones rather than instant revolution because in the latter case fascists are practically guaranteed to gain popular appeal since most people are racist assholes obsessed with wealth and shit. >inb4 autism It is clay wars tier, but eh. Actually, speaking of clay wars, which board here would be the one to do clay wars on if it was to be done here?

Unless they're single actual communities (not imagined ones) against state entities, no. Separatist movements are almost always bourgeois in foundation. We see this everywhere with Rojava as a very recent example in which while ideologically they espouse certain anti-capitalist ideas and so on, they are fundamentally bourgeois and will abandon their ideas for assistance by corporate entities because what comes first to them is not the proletariat but their fantasy nation idea.

How to Make /int/-Style Flags Like a Pro Anonymous Refugee 11/03/2019 (Sun) 23:06:14 No. 645 [Reply] [Last]
Made this thread on old /ref/, but that's gone now, so I figured it was time to go for it again on here. I've made most of the flags on this chan that use the /int/-style beveled/shiny effect, be it on /leftypol/, /GET/, or /ref/ and I'd like to share how I do it. Maybe there's simpler ways to do it, but I prefer this method as they end up more authentic to the original flags than other methods I've seen.

You will need the following:
-The flag you want to convert
-Base coloured flags (will post them ITT)
-An image editing software that isn't Microsoft Paint (I personally use Paint.NET and will be using it for this tutorial)

So to start off, we have solid-coloured flags that I put together from parts of other /int/ flags (except for the green one, which is simply the former flag of Libya). There's black, white, red, yellow, and green variants, which should be more than enough. For this tutorial I will be remaking the United Nations flag that's already on here. Don't know if it will be the same colours as the one I made before, but it should be close enough.

Pic 1 - First what you want to do is grab the image of the flag you want off the internet. Wikipedia usually works best for this as you can get the images in high resolution and usually based on the standard design. Once you have your flag, put it into your image editing software.

Pic 2 - Resize your image to 1600x1100. These /int/-style flags are 16x11, so you're going to want a clean multiple of that to work with. Theoretically 160x110 could also work, but this is what I use.

Pic 3 - Crop and edit if needed. Flags almost never resize perfectly if you keep the dimensions the same. You'll end up with a little more on one side, so crop off any excess. Plain tricolours and some other flags usually don't need to be cropped as resizing them without keeping the dimensions the same will give you the same result. But in this case, we're cropping off some negligible pixels from the side. Editing isn't needed in this flag, though you may want to make certain parts of some flags larger so they actually appear on the finished project when scaled down. Some things may need to be simplified, such as cutting down on a large number of stars.

we need an indian to make a video for this
thanks for the tutorial, will try
Thanks king
>>651 >>650 any alternatives to these templates? a lighting effect looks good but i think this one comes off too strong sometimes and I don't know how to make my own.
>>1704 These are either pieced together from actual /int/ flags with no modifications or actually are flags included in the base /int/ set in the case of the white and green ones. They're as close to the actual ones as you'll get. You can try making edits to get them how you want them, but this thread is for making authentic /int/-style flags, which do have that level of shine.

>>1316 Most reactionary or most bourgeois? The most reactionary as in susceptible to fascist politics would currently be Ninove (pic related), but it's not a bourgeois neighborhood, it's just a place where demagogues are succesfully tricking the working class. The most bourgeois, perhaps some rich village (Sint-Martens-Latem, Lasne, Hove, De Pinte...) or rich area/suburb of Brussels. Many of our porkies went to live in Switzerland or elsewhere anyways.
