Can we have a thread about the rising threat that is qanon.
(1.84 MB 2467x1387 Q_IRL.png)
Idk, I find them pretty funny. I doubt that they are really a threat, at worst they are Tea Party 2.0. It will be interesting to see how they cope with Trump loosing the election. You'd think that should shatter the worldview.
>>991740 >in which a signifier (adrenochrome) is removed from the "pure" subject; white children etc. You misjudge them here, by my read they believe the adrenachrome is harvested from kidnapped children of all ethnicities This is similar in psychic structure to how you end up with a black man being the leader of the proud boys btw, look at what's happening more coldly and from the outside of the traditional USano liberal democrat so called "left", conservative republican "right" frame to understand what's going on There's a political realignment going on that damages the old electoral "liberal left" "conservative right" USano assumptions and if you stick to the You'll hear a lot of the bush era antiwar voices in the masses in that blob if you listen carefully I would lay about $500 that a significant minority of this new republican crowd say at least 10% voted for Obama twice even Any takers?
>>991762 I'm not going to bet against you if I had to. >>991747 My one criticism of the show is that it doesn't reveal him to be a pedophile himself.

>>991762 >This is similar in psychic structure to how you end up with a black man being the leader of the proud boys btw Well, he's Afro-Cuban and grew up in the reactionary world of Miami emigres. Like, they say he's a black man for a specific purpose although he comes from a different social bubble of Bay of Pigs veterans and one much more wedded to what you might call an authentic fascist politics in the U.S. than an incipient wave of black Americans "leaving the Democrat plantation" as right-wing #walkaway social media accounts pump out daily in astroturfed campaigns. >look at what's happening more coldly and from the outside of the traditional USano liberal democrat so called "left", conservative republican "right" frame to understand what's going on Much of the base for /Q/ are the same people, the same class, from the same base within the Republican Party and with the same pathologies that animated the Reagan-era Satanic panic. What's novel is that it's in a more intensified form (and perhaps expected, given that this class is in decay). Give them a new foreign enemy to fight -- like China -- and they will sound the battle bugle with enthusiasm.
>>991619 What's there to discuss? Either it's real or it isn't. Use your own judgement to ascertain that. If it's not real it'll blow over. Right Wing Death Squad types have a different ideology. If it is, better start following it.
>>991804 >from the same base within the Republican Party Almost On a structural psychic level yes, but Does anybody else here remember the term "Reagan Democrats"?
This QAnon cult shit is so absurd and psychotic it's like we're living in some dystopian novel.
>Q you mean Jim Watkins?
>>991734 I went there some time ago and it's seriously the worst thing I've ever seen. It's like looking inside the brain of a paranoid schizophrenic from another dimension. The schizoposting you'd see on /pol/ doesn't even compare. >>991862 It's actually what kind of woke me up from falling further into reactionary thought. I remember when people started talking about adrenochrome something clicked in my head and I was like oh my god these people are all completely insane

I used to think QAnon, being crypto esoteric fascism repackaged for a 21st century American audience, was something of a modern day Thule Society until I realized (slow on the draw) it currently lacks the prestige that made the Thule Society influential--or rather, indicative of the fashionable ideas of its time among a certain elevated sect of German society. If QAnon fails to gain significant backing from the State/capitalist class, it'll probably peak at random, relatively ineffectual acts of terror, then lose steam as Trump becomes progressively irrelevant and the Boomer base dies out/gets nursing home'd. Presently, this is the most likely outcome. If, however, capitalists/the State determine it's more advantageous to work within QAnon than against it (the chances of which increase proportionate to the real or perceived socialist threat... and assuming it isn't an op already), they could populate civic, state, and federal governments with Q puppets to crush leftist dissident and normalize/justify cumulatively authoritarian rule. Crucially, the bourgeoisie knows nothing of class unity and will sell-out their allies in short order if it benefits them personally. Such as the case of the gentile German capitalists who threw their long-time business partners, the Jewish bourgeoisie, to the wolves to save their skins. Still, I think this is a major uphill battle for QAnon and they'll probably /fizzle/ by 2030.

>>991862 >we're living in some...novel Exactly
For those who know swedish, here's a good radio docu: https://sverigesradio.se/avsnitt/1596365
>>991871 >It's actually what kind of woke me up from falling further into reactionary thought. I remember when people started talking about adrenochrome something clicked in my head and I was like oh my god these people are all completely insane There's reactionary and there's reactionary. This is so insane that even Franco would've turned 360 degrees and backed away.
>>992080 is the book good?
>>992097 Extremely. Beware though: it was written by libcoms
>>991949 >>991740 Why the fuck do Qtards reality as a science fiction/fantasy show? Clones, blood-sucking elites, lizard overlords... it's like they live in a parallel universe or something. Or is this is just a hobby for bored upper middle class westerners?
>>992111 *treat reality
>>992111 Many people who believe in crazy conspiracy theories are often well educated but lead boring and uneventful life, believing in stuff like that makes reality a bit more exciting than it actually is.
>>992111 >bored upper middle class westerners? I've met a few of them and they are. A lot of old white women for some reason.
>>992059 Qtards have at least one and maybe two active congressman backing, and the support of a few police/military.
>>992303 They have like 30 candidates or something
Q anon is a cia psyop. Watch out for that shit, cia could activate it at any point. Would only take one post for that shit to go "hot"
>>991619 I can understand why Qanon exists but I don't understand the patriots I mean patriotism comes with a heavy price and that's because you sell your soul to the patriots and the people in control of them
It's all a bit confusing to me which is why I stay out of it.

>>991899 adrenochrome is super easy to make synthetically, literally just oxidize adrenaline/epinephrine.
>>991626 is this bait or are you this retarded? why would facebook banning them have any negative impact on their movement
Q will take over the Republican Party in a few years. Screenshot this.
(279.14 KB 752x2528 synthesizingdmt.png)
>>991899 Harvesting pineal glands for drugs is simply unprofitable when you consider that dmt is the only hardcore drug i can think of which the pineal gland produces and you can simply create that with plant material, water, naphtha (lighter fluid), lye (sodium hydroxide/caustic soda), vinegar, and household items. Not that anybody should ever do that.
>>991626 I think it'd be more effective if Facebook forced users to unfollow QAnon accounts in order to drag people out of their echo chambers, but then again, Facebook and YouTube only want to keep people on their service so they can earn more revenue off of advertising and any side effects don't really harm them as a corporation since they're so big. Twitter doesn't have much and their stock is still buried under Facebook and Google, which is why they're more inclined to remove shit. >>1011334 The United States historically has had conspiracy-laden political parties, but I don't really see Q attracting non-bourgeoisie young folk over to the Republican party. They'll probably make a third party and magically get wiped out around the same time since they're all so old and probably getting fooled by technical support scams from India.
>>991740 >>991804 Based posts. >>992080 >>992111 It is really not (or should not be) that surprising. I have never been there so I could not tell you how big it is, but on the Internet the USA has had a whole "conspiracy theorist subculture" for decades. I remember that back when 4chan took on Scientology you had a subset of people who kept harping on and on about how Scientology was just one head of the hydra and the real danger were the Illuminati/NWO/Greenpeace and actively tried to convinced everyone that the Georgia Guidestones were proof of that. As for why it keeps happenings, partially the reason is the one >>992117 pointed out, some people live lives devoid of any excitement so they make this up to put their energies somewhere, but it goes deeper than that. The explosive growth of QAnon is part of a wider trend in Western culture with the rise in skepticism toward the media and conspiracy theorists starting to accept each others' nonsense (which is why you have flat earthers and the anti-vaccine teaming up to protest the use of masks against Covid).
so is it like one person who has basically formed a sociological cult?
>>1011604 yes, and that person is Jim Watkins
>>991739 So this is what mass retardation looks like in text form
